Swamp Thing (or, Swampy, as I call them) is a character borne from the depths of my inner consciousness. Contrary to my typical approach to creating art,  I do not always know how the drawing will turn out. This is because Swampy is the manifestation of whatever I am currently feeling deep below the surface. I use a micron pen, and each illustration is created in one fell swoop--no pre-sketched penciling/erasing. These illustrations are a product of processing emotion and experience.
